Sceletium tortuosum powder (5g)
Kanna was originally used by the Hottentots of South Africa as a stimulant. It is insufflated, smoked or drunk as tea. When the dutch arrived in South Africa and first introduced it to the modern West, they called it 'kauwgoed' (chew-well).
Sceletium tortuosum lightens the mood and reduces anxiety. At a higher dose, this mood lightening magnifies to a smooth euphoric feeling and creates an intense empathogenic bond with the perceived environment.
Despite being initially stimulating, after an hour or so it settles into a more relaxing vibe.
Sceletium Tortuosum is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) and should never be consumed in conjunction with any monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO-I), for example: Peganum harmala, Banisteriopsis caapi or Yohimbe.
Traditional Use: Use as Snuff, Chew , Vaporize (150-180C) / Tea (1/2-1 Teaspoons)
