Combretum quadrangulare (20g)
Combretum is originally from Amphoe Na Kae district of the province of Nakhon Phanom in the northeast of Thailand. This is at the extreme north-eastern border of Thailand-Laos border, on the banks of the Mekong river.
The name Na Kae means “field of the Kae trees” and it is in the marshy areas of these fields that the herb grows.
It took western culture until 2013 to “discover” Combretum, known locally as Naa Sakae. This delightful, extremely rare herb has since found many enthusiastic supporters
