Erythroxylum catuaba (50g)
Catuaba has a long history of use as a herbal aphrodisiac. The Tupi Indians, who are native to Brazil, were the first to discover that the plant has a powerful effect on human sexuality. Their culture contains numerous songs, all devoted to the plant and each extolling it’s miraculous effects.
Catuaba is undoubtably the most famous Brazilian aphrodisiac. It increases sexual desire, enhances sexual potency, enhances sexual excitement and allows for more powerful orgasms.
A group of three related alkaloids, Catabuine A, B and C, work in synchrony to stimulate the central nervous system, which in turn leads to enhancements in sexual function.
To make a Catuaba tea, boil 1-3 tablespoons of BASTS in a pint of water for 10-15 minutes (makes 2 cups). The onset of the the effects should be felt within half an hour.
