Nepeta cataria (50g)
Cats appear to be almost mystically attracted to this often-grown ornamental herb, and clearly feel a strong psychoactive effect upon contact with it - hence the name Catnip.
Catnip is relaxing and is often used to ease you into a good night's sleep as well as to relieve menstrual cramps.
Relaxing and very mild hallucinogenic. Can be considered a marijuana-like high.
For tea, you need about 10-25g in a liter of water. Boil for a minute or two and then let it brew for 15 minutes, sieve, add honey or sugar and the tea is ready.
Catnip can also be purchased mixed with Damiana (50:50). The two are known to potentiate each other, combining to give a much deeper relaxation.
Traditional Use: Vaporize (150-180C) / Tea (1-2 Teaspoons)
